Considering Reneging PE Offer to Stay in Banking

Hey everyone - first time posting. Wanted to hear advice from the broader community. Currently a second year analyst at an EB. Recruited on-cycle in 2018 and got a MM PE offer for summer 2020. I was never dead set on PE but decided to recruit because everyone in my class did. However, this may sound crazy, but I enjoy banking and believe I can do well in the industry. Has anyone gone through a similar situation or know of people who reneged a PE offer to stay in banking? Would I have future opportunities to move to the buy side if my career in banking doesn't work out? Thanks in advance for your advice.

Do what is right for you.

I really do believe banking is a better fit for some people, especially those that are interested in the idea of being a sales person down the road but also being in finance
