My MD told me a few weeks ago that he stumbled into banking, he worked as a cab driver in San Francisco for 4 after graduating and becoming a hippie and didn’t start banking til he was 30. Now you have to have multiple IB internships, strong GPA and go to at least a semi target. What gives?
