Conversing with the MD
Hey guys, so I just started in banking recently as an intern. Although I'm pretty close with the other analysts and associates now, I NEVER talk to the MD. Most of the time he just walks past my cubicle without even looking at me. He talks to the older analysts frequently.
I am wondering is this the norm for interns? Should I start initiating conversations with him regarding "hows ur day etc" or would he think I'm wasting his time?
its the norm. just pop in and tell him how you are grateful to be given this opportunity and ask him politely if maybe one of these days you could grab coffee to learn more from his experiences.
