Corporate Banking Exit Paths
Ignore role coming in on 2 years Curious to see what exit opps people have taken from my position. An2 @ large BB where CB / IB houses / integrated closely. Looking to exit in later 2024 but market seems mid especially for private credit which I am really interested in.
Bump
Same position and wondering this too

From my CIB group I’ve seen:
PC, LMM PE, corporate dev, IB (both internal and external)
I get recruiters pinging me about PE, corp dev and IB all the time. I also had the chance to interview for a CVC but turned it all down as my sole interest is in PC. The second I get an offer in hand I’m outta here.
Did you find it hard to recruit out at the moment? Looking into PC and am a bit confused if it’s following the same recruiting cycle as PE. Doesn’t seem like it.
Surprising you're getting these looks but it's awesome to hear. How strong/technical is your group?
Did you get a pc offer and leave, why pc over pe and was it all on cycle
Do you think the corporate banking groups at TD and Santander (both CIB) are good for recruiting for PC or only BB CIB groups are good?
