Corporate Banking in Europe

Hello fellow monkeys, I am an undergraduate at a university in the UK (semi-target, top 30 in the world) and I do Economics. I will be applying for internships during autumn and my preferred internship is Corporate Banking. I've read through the topics on WSO about Corporate Banking but they all seem to focus on the US and there really aren't many details about CB in Europe either on here or elsewhere online. Therefore, I am starting this topic to hopefully get info on Corporate Banking internships in London. Specifically, how harder/easier is it to secure a CB internship as opposed to an IB one? What should I look out for? Should I prepare for an application process similar to IB? Any other info and tips (including salaries in London) is much appreciated. Thanks!

Some info on myself: 2nd year undergraduate (4 year degree) at a semi-target UK university. Active in the uni's Investment Banking Club and Investment Society, doing an IB internship this summer (doing it in my home country as I'm an EU student so it's not a big bank). Average of 2:1 in first year and (most probably) second year.
