It's a good way to avoid the monkey shit that was going to get thrown at you if you actually posted those 10 banks, but it also gets nothing done.
Until you get those offers, rankings don't matter. Until then, you can use the prestige rankings on Vault as a proxy if being a prestige whore is your thing.
