Could your personal interests (if found out) stop you from breaking into IB

This is not about me, just my concerns for a friend...anyway she wants to work as a research analyst in an Investment Bank but she has also been writing an erotic short story series for a webpage in her spare time....How can I explain to her that this may not be good for her main goal which is to work in finance?

lol I repeat, this is for a friend

and if she does get caught, whoever caught her is likely going to be higher up ib personnel in which i think she'll have instant blackmail lol

If the glove don't fit, you must acquit!

lol, but is this fair though, surely she is entitled to her own personal interest besides finance, is there some type of law that could protect her against this..lol funny situation that would be though!!

I don't see where her hobby would affect her career? She writes erotica, not direct adult movies, right?

If she's too worried, she can work under a Nom de Plume but she has to be very careful to erase all tracks. Kudos to her for doing what she likes.

I may not be on the Jedi Council, but I sure am great with the Force. See my WSO blog posts
