Crashing College events

Hello,

I attended a summer school in UK (think top 3 B-schools) and contacted their Alumni. Had many informational interviews, got referrals and waiting for this hiring freeze to be lift off.

Anyways, many MDs and VPs told me to attend their company's presentation at the school. and they will be happy to chat with me. In other words, this could be my moment, if I am allowed entry to the events.

Has anyone crashed these events? I have heard ppl attending other univs career fairs and events, but only in US. Can anyone share their story for UK?

^^ Agree.

You can practice by crashing other events prior - walk around upscale places. Dress nicely and go walk through a nice hotel, go to conferences you're not meant to - mix it up and be creative. Best things are the ones where they are serving free food. Just don't make the mistake I did when crashing an event, I saw this great looking bisque so I took a big spoonful and just swallowed. I was just like ._.' and took a whiff. Apparently it was this fancy mustard. Why the hell would they put mustard in really pretty little bowls with spoons in them anyways? Long story short, I puked it up not long after as I was walking through the city.
