Craziest Thing You’ve Seen in IB That Didn’t Get Someone Fired

Everyone’s heard the stories about interns or analysts completely imploding, but I’m curious about the people who somehow got away with something that should have ended their career on the spot.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve seen someone do in banking and still come back to work the next day?

Wrong materials to a client, showing up to work hammered, blowing up a model, saying something insane to an MD, fights, whatever.
