CRE to Investment Banking
Hey everyone - I am a senior at non-target who has internship experience in ER, LevFin, and now have an offer for CRE. I eventually want to go into an investing role on the corporate side but given how late it is in the FT recruiting cycle, I only have this or a buy-side trading offer. Has anyone seen anyone go from CRE in a non-core city (Baltimore, Detroit, San Diego, Las Vegas) to IB in NY? Any advice on how to go about this situation would be greatly appreciated.
