Credit check for internship

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently been accepted into an off cycle internship at a MM investment bank in London. They’ve told me now I’ve signed the contract that they just need to do a background check with HireNow. Everything on my CV is honest (excellent grades, 1st class degree from target, basic but good enough work experience I guess). The only thing I’m concerned about is my credit. I had to move out from my parents for a while and I relied on 3 credit cards. The balance is about £8000. I’ve never missed any payments and the accounts are in good standing although closish to the limits. Can I lose the internship because of this? If anyone has any insight it would be awesome to hear.
