Credit Rating Analyst at a big3 CRA or Valuation associate in a Mid-Size firm

I'm a newly qualified CA, just joined a CRA as an analyst a month ago and talked to people working here, they all are telling there is no good exit after ratings. I have also been offered an associate position at a mid-size valuation firm at a 15% less pay than CRA. I want to go into ER/IB/PE in long term. Should I choose ratings or valuation?
