Heard CS bonuses went out this morning. Heard some people were disappointed so I’m interested in starting a thread.

Did they give Swiss chocolate instead of cash this year?

Top bucket was 200 to 260 K
Position? Group?
So, about 100%. Not bad
Anecdotal 40K stub 80K a1
Group/location?
This isn’t correct.
then what is?
This is true it was literally on liquidity
Associate 1 or analyst 1? A1 could be either…
What were analyst bonuses like this summer?
Orange.
ya the money
"I am interested to join Investment Banking as I am intrigued by processes as well as depth of analysis that companies go through before undertaking an M&A activity..."
Ya no, the money, that's all.
Range last summer for second year analysts was 70-110. Not sure all groups tho, this was just a product group
Is CS raising analyst salaries
not sure, dont work there anymore
Nope, as of now no plans to raise Analyst base salaries to market. CS clearly has no money, incredibly disappointing bonuses the other day for ASOs and up after a great performance year from IB, even though there should’ve been more money to give around given the mass exodus of MDs the past year. Directors and MDs are pissed bc they got very low numbers and have that 3 year clawback being thrown at them. Wouldn’t be surprised to see another mass exodus coming in the next few weeks.
Can confirm CS raised base for analysts and summer analysts. Given new contracts to show the increase as well.
Didn’t all the CS folks get a random $20k COVID bonus. Isn’t that probably being factored in?
No, was not factored into the comp sheet provided (but sure add that to your TC figure).
ASO1s ~$110 - 120k cash for good performers. They’re pissed
ASO2s ~$220 - 245k for top performers at that level, all cash
So it's really ASO1 that got screwed here?
Do you have associate 3 or VP1?
Whats the cash / stock % split at the Associate level?
This what happen when you lever the shit out of a wonky tech hedge fund and then are too dumb to realize that you are the bag holder after all the other prime brokers got out before you. Multi billion dollar losses will do that lmao
