I need to make a decision to commit to an A/WM or Credit Underwriting internship for 2025, with plans to lateral into IB through my ongoing networking and preparation efforts.
I'm in some tail end processes, but need some opinions on what is the best not only in terms of training, but also on the resume - so to speak.

Credit Underwriting would be more aligned I imagine but would need more information in case there's a significant brand name difference (i.e Morgan Stanley WM in NYC vs some no name SMB lender in a T3 city)
