Criminal Disclosure U-4

I'm sure all you guys know that working in investment making requires you to disclose all arrests and charges that pertain to their requirements.

About 4 years ago, me and my friend were caught by the university police taking a wooden bench from university property to play a prank. They arrested us and charged us with Theft of Movable Property, a disorderly persons charge. It is later dismissed at court after pleading not guilty.

How will this impact my prospects of working at a firm? Please keep in mind, I worked in retail banking for more than a year full-time a little after this wooden bench ordeal. I hope that my banking experience, although limited, could possibly regain some credibility. I mean after all I was handling thousands of dollars on a day-to-day basis without incident before deciding to return to school.

As an added note, I currently am interning at an investment boutique.

Thanks for the help!
