Question: In a Cross Border deal, what are some advantages and disadvantages when merging with or acquiring a company based in a different country?
here are a few off the top of my head
positives: possible tax breaks, exposure to new markets (customers, manufacturers, distribution channels), operating synergies
negatives: culture clashes, more complex to manage due to distance, potential regulatory issues
