Crushed is this normal?

Averaging a legitimate 90-100 hrs a week since starting (almost all live stuff). Worked pretty much every holiday (New Years, Christmas etc). Not sure if others are in a similar boat or if this is unique, have friends at BBs putting in 50-70hrs some less. Should I be considering a lateral move? have had no time for PE recruiting. Any advice appreciated.

In a snail's market, why are you complaining about deal flow? Obviously getting ran over on Christmas isn't ideal but working 50 hours knowing bad bonus and reps are here isn't better.

If your group is busy that's probably good. Sucks to work holidays, but that's better than being laid off or getting an awful bonus. Obviously if your bonus sucks then you can reconsider

Also I don't know where you are going to lateral to? No one is hiring, especially for a first year - they're not losing many first or even second years to attrition right now
