Current Affairs and Finance?
Ignore title - junior at an EB right now. I’ve always had an interest in current affairs (geopolitics) and would honestly go into politics except I’m an international and my home country is a shithole.
As my peers recruit for and depart for PE, I began thinking about what I want to do in life and quickly realized buyouts are not for me.
Is there a path that has an intersection of finance and geopolitics? I do like IB enough (think making uo BS growth stories and running a process is actually entertaining) so would be awesome if I could get some color for if an opportunity like this even exists
