Current LBO structures and pricing

I'm preparing for a just in time interview with a lev fin group.

I'm having trouble finding succinct information on current LBO structures.

  1. How much debt is being used a. How many turns of senior / term / mezz, etc b. pricing for each tranche.

If anyone could help in this direction it would be much appreciated.

  1. lot's of debt. a. couldn't concentrate on the rest of your question because of the befuddling bullet structure

Sorry I couldn't be of more help. I trust someone else will answer you though.

Marcus is right that you wouldn't be expected to know this, but it IS knowable and could be pretty impressive to mention in an interview.

Look at a recently executed (or recently refinanced!) LBOs with bonds and dig into their SEC filings; you should be able to discern a lot about the different financing involved.

For Lev Fin, you can also look at public companies that fund through the high yield space (not just limited to LBOs).

PM me for some examples if you want.
