https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GpwIwPVwN3Ng3jt0…

Hi all, any criticism appreciated. Currently on a year internship returning to final year studies next September.

Aiming for Corporate Banking SA's or FLDP feeder internships next summer.

UK based but applying for US FLDP's so all comments are appreciated.

Thanks.

Overall, great resume... bullet points especially.

Feedback:

  • Italicize the dates.
  • Remove the %'s from the relevant coursework.
  • Technical Skills portion is so wordy... just say "Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg Terminal, Tableau, SAP, Alteryx".
  • Say "leadership experience" instead of "extracirricular &...."
  • Make Hobbies & Interests one section and only use ones relevant to the targeted opportunity (don't use ones that are subjective).
  • I notice the spacing is off in many parts... why is there no space between your uni and high school but there are spaces between your work experiences? Same for the extracurricular section.
  • Another space is needed between your name and education. Add your LinkedIn.
  • For the last bullet point in work experience, remove where you wrote "work experience"... maybe say shadow instead. Also - how does your last bullet point say you worked on something for 6 months but the experience happened in the month of July only??

Recruiters only look at CVs for ~6 seconds, keep everything as concise as possible.

Thank you for this extensive feedback, I greatly appreciate it.

The one month thing with the banking internship is because I was only in office for a couple of weeks but the subsequent mentorship program was 6 months.

Ive been told in the past to keep the time to when I was actually in the program, just to not build expectations that I worked at a bank for 6 months.

Everything else I agree with. Thank you.
