Why are there so many random interns at D1? Seeing a ton from my northeast target but also from other semi/non targets...

60 person hf having similar if not more interns than CAP (citadel associate program)
Not sure why they would take on this many ppl and they can’t possibly train all of them effectively
would guess it’s nepo and they basically show up and put it on their resume… dan is so sharp though that general rule of osmosis would say it would be hard not to take away a lot though
Not a nepo program, the kids from my target there are the sharpest kids in our year
Seems like all interns are from NY, or went to high school in NY. Ofc is nepo.
N=1 but have an international Asian friend from an Ivy who interned there last year. Extremely sharp kid who wiped the slate clean for dozens of stock pitch comps, total non-US background pre college
