Davidson Kempner Analyst Program vs Top BB

Davidson Kempner recently launched a new 2-year analyst program where you rotate through the different strategies in the first year and then place into one in Y2. Would this or a good group at GS/MS/JMP be better to take out of school if I know I ultimately want to work on the buyside?

Thanks in advance!

Dk are respected in the distressed/ss space. I would not say revered, but they are respected. It is a solid exit opp for people leaving eb rx roles. Wso seems to think it has a decent culture too. Not a conventional platform to recruit for mf pe but great for their ss units, along with other types of opportunistic credit vehicles

Only a second-rate, bottom bucket individual turns down a top BB (think GS/MS/Citi) out of undergrad. If you have to ask this question you should reconsider whether you’re cut out to become one of the few, the proud, the marines of high finance. Be better.
