Just had an off-cycle hire joining our team this Wednesday. The new guy took 2 minutes to introduce himself in front of everyone, and it was like what he’d be talking about for job interview (from where he grew up, university sports, internships to FT jobs).
This reminded me of what I did first day was just 10-sec my name and school. Was wondering what normal bankers would be expected to say for day one self introduction?
