DCM or ECM?
Which capital markets group would be a better group to work in, DCM or ECM?
Are there any benefits of being in one versus the other?

DCM is less cyclical, which means more stability. ECM revenue is down 80% since last year at some banks
I’d choose DCM
DCM is a bit more technical and you can likely switch into lev fin / a credit related exit opp afterwards. ECM is generally less technical but deals can be more interesting. Both can feel mundane.
