DCM is less cyclical, which means more stability. ECM revenue is down 80% since last year at some banks
I’d choose DCM
DCM is a bit more technical and you can likely switch into lev fin / a credit related exit opp afterwards. ECM is generally less technical but deals can be more interesting. Both can feel mundane.
