December Grad Entry-Level Job Search?
Hey all,
I'm graduating December with a Finance BBA from a good but non-target school in NYC, and no finance internship. How the hell do I--or other people graduating off-season--find entry-level positions that start in December/January? Do I basically have to wait until then to start looking? Keep trolling the job boards til something comes up?
I'm not super worried about how to sell my own experience and academic record, though I'll never turn down advice on that. My question on this thread is more focused on how to actually locate those positions, and when I can expect to see them pop up.
My recommendation (based on my experience in finance and consulting and graduating during off-cycle):
I just gave you advice that I provide in private consultations that I charge clueless Community College & big state school kids $60+, $90+ for experienced hires. You follow those 5 steps and guarantee it will likely cut your 6-7 month search down to 2-3, maybe 4 depending on the start of certain seasonal roles.
