Deciding on accepting an offer (front office developer)

I'm currently in the process of deciding on an offer with an IB firm as a front office developer (I will be on the floor with the traders). I have a few questions that I hope you could answer:

1)I know traders work crazy hours (100+). Does the tech team do so as well or do they have a more regular schedule (60 hrs or so)?

2)I'm a female and I don't mind working many hours now as I'm young and energetic, but eventually I do want to settle down and start a family. Would my work schedule be less demanding in a few years if I stick it out?

3)I used to work at a IT consulting company and was harassed on a few occasions (never reported it because I don't want to be known as that girl). Since stereotypically bankers are so busy with their work, can I expect less harassment and be treated like a normal employee by everyone?

Thanks in advanced.

Traders dont work +100 hrs, bankers do...traders are in early, but usually head out a bit after the market closes. Your job would be around 60 hrs per week, give or take depending on the time of year.

Harrassment happens in banks too, but there are pretty strict codes to prevent it from happening these days. The culture is nothing like it (apparently) was in the 80s. But if you are an attractive woman, then i strongly advise you to dress very conservatively so that you attract the least bit of unwanted attention to yourself.

Best of luck with your decision.
