I think the only benefit to the move given your goals would depend on how much work the Corp dev team there does with the PE firm when doing acquisitions. It may get your foot in the door if they think you're good, especially if this is a MM PE firm, as those in London recruit also from Big4. 

However, you mention your long term goal is IB or PE. For both, but especially IB, why did you not make the move already? You have 4 years of experience now, so you should've already been interviewing for IB and trying to network/interview for PE
