“My mentor was very helpful because he took the time to understand what I wanted to improve on instead of giving me generic advice. He explained concepts clearly and was always willing to answer my questions, even when I needed something explained more than once. I also appreciated that he gave specific feedback on what I was doing well and what I could improve, which made each session feel productive. He was easy to talk to and created an environment where I felt comfortable asking questions. I especially liked hearing about his own experiences because they gave me a better understanding of what to expect and how I could prepare.
