Ok, I think it will more be based on your strengths, why them, why IBD, etc. Not too markets awareness oriented.

And expect some technicals, in Germany it is usually technicals heavy (but not so in 1st round, unless it is in person).

Check BNP deals as well, know at least a few and few basic details about them.

Regarding case studies, make sure to read on pros and cons of each of valuation methods and understand the reason behind them. When coming up with the valuation go for a range and have a good reason why you picked that one, backed up by some hard facts (if possible) and using several valuation methods. Have some reasonable idea about deal financing as well.

If you have to decide between several acquisition targets or sth like that, id go for higher entry barriers and more conservative solution. But no wrong answer there, they just want to see how you think and defend your case.
