Do not do DCM! Get your MBA and get into classic IB. I have friends that sling IG debt and they are miserable and are not valued at their bank. Continue to earn and kill the GMAT. Your time will come.
For those of us starting in a niche DCM group at a BB (not ABS but similar niche-ness) - would you suggest lateraling after 2 years into classics IB or LevFin? I assume lateraling internally wouldn't be that hard as long as you do a decent job..
