I wouldn't bring it up. Best advice I ever received: let your relationships grow organicly and don't just reach out to people when you need a favor. Postpone the favor conversation for another time -- odds are if he has lunch with you once, he'd be willing to do it again if you're an interesting person and prove you're worth his time. That's when you can start hinting at making a move.

For kids coming out of college, it's one thing to ask for favors because there's no other way to get your foot in the door and everyone gets that. But once you're in, play the long game and you'll end up opening more doors for yourself down the road. Be interested in their business and be proactive in learning -- when the time comes and a spot opens up, you'll name will be in the conversation for the right reasons.
