Deloitte Transaction Advisory Services UK

Hi all, I have a final round interview for transaction advisory services graduate role at Deloitte in London,

What department does TAS sit in? Corp Fin or Audit & Assurance?

Do graduates have to go through all the accounting exams?

What typical work can you expect to be doing?

Thank you, Throwaway

Don't know about Deloitte specifically, but worked in M&A at another Big 4 in London.

It will not be part of Audit as the Big 4 are looking to separate their Audit functions.

Graduates will almost certainly do the ACA / CA. You may be offered to do the CFA instead if you are in M&A but this is unlikely.

TAS / TS = Financial Due Diligence

M&A / Corporate Finance = M&A as you would do at a Bank, but smaller deals, c.£10m-£200m. This is the better option if you have a choice.
