How do you guys feel about this? even though they said talks "collapsed" some say it might still happen.

Will European regulators allow this? They gave Italy shit when Intesa San Paolo and UniCredit were half considering a merger - how would this not get stopped?
I think the collapse was inevitable.
Deutsche Bank has too many problems to just solve with a merger. Yes, they may be undercapitalised but merging a not so good bank with another slightly less bad bank won't solve anything.
I also think they'd have significant regulatory issues by becoming too dominant in Germany.
