Difference between ECM, Equity Sales and Syndication
Can someone explain the difference between these ECM, Equity sales and syndication. I thought they all fell in the bucket of ECM but I seem to be confused. Can someone explain to me

Equity sales is part of S&T (public side). Syndication is part of ECM (private side). ECM has originators, aka the guys who pitch and win the deal, and the syndicate team who coordinates with equity sales for allocation to investors, etc.
