Diluted Calculazation Table
I admit that all of my modeling skills, and everything I know is self taught. I have worked hard to know as much as I know now about investment banking and modeling (which isn't much). Today during an interview a client asked if I could prepare a diluted calculazation table. Has anyone heard of these, or created one?
To add some color, we have a client who is in his first round of raising capital. We pitched to an individual and he said that he was interested in investing, but would like to know what the dilution plans were. This seemed like something that the client should talk about, but the investor turned to me and asked if I could prepare for him a diluted calculation table. I have looked on WSO, and on the internet, but can't find anything.
Help!
I'm pretty sure he asked you to create a "capitalization table" showing the ownership of the company on a fully diluted basis...
Sorry for the novice question but, how do you create one?
