I am currently a freshman and was offered an operations/forecasting type of job for Discover this summer. I currently want to do iBanking or trading in my future, but does Discover have any worthwhile finance jobs that I may be able to leverage this position into in the future? I am not too sure what jobs there are at a credit card company...thanks.

It's a great summer internship for a freshman. I'd take it. The company used to be owned by Morgan Stanley; it's a long shot but there's always a chance somebody knows somebody else for next year. Either way, it's a highly recognizable name and looks good on a sophomore resume.
