Dish The Dirt????
Two years ago, I interviewed for a position with a very, very, very prestigious firm, and the team never got back to me, even though I emailed and called every week for about a month.
I'm quite certain I did not say anything wrong... Should I name and shame them on a public internet forum for being the insensitive and arrogant pr*cks that they are?
Could be quite fun actually.
Your opinions please...
Why not - You are totally anonymous and will never get back to you! Also it may forewarn others and prepare their others expectations for when they go to interview at the same firm ........
You're crazy, man.
Sweet post.
I'm not sure what the endgame is here. Will less people interview for this very very prestigious firm because you called them out on their insensitive hiring (or rejection) practices?
Anyone who has had a series of interviews with a firm knows how tense the waiting period can be... For that waiting period not to end - one way or another - with a call, or even a template email, is utterly despicable. I held off applying and interviewing with other firms, and for what..?
Simply being young and inexperienced is no excuse for so-called professionals (MD, VP, Assoc), to treat someone like dirt.
I don't care whether this puts candidates off applying or not. For me, its about payback!
just do it
