Diversity Forum by Jumpstart - Worth it?

I have just been accepted to participate in the diversity finance forum by Jumpstart Advisory. Is it worth it?

I am skeptical since it only took a few hours to accept my candidacy to the forum to the admissions committee.

I am an incoming MBA student to be matriculated this fall and from an unrepresented minority in the finance industry. I am looking to develop a career in Investment Banking and as such maybe this is a good opportunity to network and have some informational interviews.

Has anyone attended this event and was it worth the traveling (I am from Mexico)? Did anybody get his internship in IB thanks to this event?

Any insight on the subject will be appreciated. Than you.

Not sure how the experience is for an MBA student but for an undergraduate its a great experience. Network with top investment banks and consulting firms and participate in case studies and informational interviews. I would recommend checking it out
