It helps a lot. Non-target + diversity = real shot at top firms if you prep right. The odds aren’t guaranteed, but they’re way better than going through OCR or cold apps. Think of it as a fast lane—still gotta drive.
Why does diversity and non target combo help?
How tho? Do they have programs that aid in that?
Only if you are a woman, black / Hispanic male, LGBTQ. If you are Asian / Brown / Arab male then no chance as you are not part of any DEI streams.
The Bristol tracker report said black heritage/women had twice as many interviews, so yeah
