Am an analyst and had a crush on another analyst but he left the firm since. Better off that way I guess
People are people and still have emotions in the workplace. Their level of professionalism will decide if they show or act on it or not, or in the right manner.
My advice: try to avoid anything romantic with the analyst, at least until you’re on the team full time. Don’t want the power dynamic to influence your relationship or other people’s perception of your success.
Analysts are still humans, of course people can get crushes.
Not a good idea to get involved with this, at least until you are full-time... the last thing you want is any rumors going around. Just be super professional and try not to be too flirty back.

You literally never know what could happen, one senior ED at my firm was let go because an first year said he touched her shoulder or something.. so even though some won’t care, especially when you’re in a power position people will be a bit careful even if they like you
