Do botique banks provide their clients loans?
I was wondering, do some boutique banks provide their clients loans, or do they source it from the larger banks? Also, does a bank need to have an account with the Fed to provide a loan?

How would a boutique provide loans without a balance sheet? A lot of boutiques have relationships with banks that they can put into play if a client or potential buyer needs a loan/financing.
