Do ECM guys get to buy into the stocks they are underwriting?
If you work in ECM do you get the chance to buy shares in the company you are offering or do they only go to the institutional guys that the bank is selling to?
No you are what FINRA calls a "Restricted Person" and cannot sell shares of a new issue to yourself or immediate family members/accountants/lawyers/etc
