You mean like a U.S. company acquiring a company in Argentina? Or raising debt to build a new plant in Brazil?
I've actually worked on both types of engagements in my current internship. Substitute Argentina and Brazil for another (easily guessed) BRIC country. So, OP, I'd assume the answer is yes if what you mean is situations like the above.
