Do London boutiques (PWP, Greenhill, PJT ecc) accept 1-year masters student for SA positions?
Hi guys I am about to start a 1-year Msc in Finance in London and I was looking to apply to SA for BBs and boutiques. While for large banks it is made clear whether they accept only penultimate year students or not, it is less clear for boutiques/independent advisory firms. Does anyone know if firms like Evercore/Greenhill/PJT/Moelis/PWP accept only penultimate year students and I should, therefore, apply straight to graduate programs?
Any info will be appreciated thanks.

I'm in the same boat and asked this question before as well. Just put 2021 as graduation year in your CV.
I thought about that too, but from what i hear HR departments know the masters pretty well and know they will last 1 year only so I am kind of stuck there since some EBs are already open for SA roles
Yeah, I know what you mean. However, every student can extend his or her master when wanted. When HR asks you about it, simply say that you want to add an exchange/take extra courses/take a few months off during your MSc to do other relevant work. And then you graduate as per your original plan.
Yes that's probably the best option given that SAs have much higher conversion rate than other prgrams
Yes, I know a guy at PJT who did a 1-year MFin and started as an SA there. Not sure about the others.
