Do you have a housekeeper?

As an analyst in IBD, you probably know that spare time is rare. How do you manage your household? Do you have a housekeeper?

I feel like having an appartement in a prime location @ 2K a month (while single) + utilities etc. takes such a big chunk out of the salary that there isn't too much disposable income for stuff like a housekeeper - so I do my laundry myself, I have a roomba, and do some cleaning. However, this takes up a lot of my spare time. How do you guys keep up with stuff like this? Do you have a housekeeper? Something Else?

I live in a 1BR apartment paying c.2k per month. I usually pay for wash and fold service about once every 2-3 weeks (less than 20 dollars). I don't have a housekeeper because I am not home enough to make the type of mess that justifies a housekeeper, although I do know some other analysts who hire cleaning ladies once every 1 or 2 weeks. This is usually because they have 2-3 other roommates, and bathrooms and kitchens can get pretty gross in those types of situations.

"m_1" I do but I always end up spending like 10 - 15 minutes cleaning up random stuff before she gets here. Weird.

It's the most frustrating phenomenon I've come across. I have a family and we get a cleaning service every other week and the time I spend cleaning up for the cleaning service is about the amount of time they spend cleaning.

Yes, this takes up a lot of spare time. I don't have a housekeeper but, I hire them occasionally when I needed. I am so happy with their cleaning service. They provide us a lot of services list like:
Basic House Cleaning
Deep House Cleaning
Commercial Cleaning
Pressure Washing
Sanitize and Disinfecting Services
Move-in/out Cleaning
And more
All I can say is awesome. The cleaners are very professional, and they cleaned my house thoroughly.

I’ve never used a housekeeper regularly, but I’ve hired someone for a deep clean a few times when my schedule was out of control. It's honestly been a relief on those weeks I had early starts and late nights, the last thing I wanted to do on a Saturday was scrub a bathroom. The only awkward part is always tidying up a bit before they arrive, just so it doesn’t look too chaotic. I still usually do my own laundry though, just feels easier to keep up with that myself.

If you're ever looking for more specialized cleaning help, especially for commercial spaces or if you have a home office that needs to stay spotless, I’d check out cleanspaceonline.com. They're based in Florida and work with tons of different building types, so you might find their services interesting if you're in the area.
