Do you reccomend adding recent M&A deals advised by the bank into your cover letter?
Would that show 'commercial awareness', or the recruiter would think is out of fit? For example:
"Some of the deals advised by Nomura I have been most impressed by include Japan's Renesas Electronics 4.9bn acquisiton of UK's Dialog Semiconductor and Platinium Equity acquisition of Iberconsa".
