Do your MDs give you lots of comments?

Across WSO, Instagram, and other social media, there always seem to be posts detailing how MDs give large amount of comments on deliverables.

However, in my experience (emphasis on my), my MD barely ever looks at the deliverables juniors prepare apart from ahead of calls; he is simply too busy. The Senior Associate on my desk is a real ball buster and a serious beast, but the fact remains he and the VP are the only ones really checking work.

Curious to hear your experiences across M&A, ECM and even DCM at other banks.
