Does a bad HS GPA affect your chances at transferring
3.3 GPA w honors and AP classes, average EC’s, 1400 SAT. Will these stats hold me back from transferring to target/semitarget schools (From a state school)
The SAT will hurt you, not really the GPA
Wrong, both the SAT and HS GPA will hurt as a freshman -> sophomore transfer.
What about sophomore to junior year
A lot of the top schools do not take junior transfers - or if they do, you won't be transferring into their business school.
Also worth mentioning that recruiting happens soph year, so a junior transfer is a bit pointless unless you add an extra year to recruit (which a lot of people do, just be careful of the business school thing mentioned above)
