Does anyone know how Nolan Ryan and Chuck Greenberg got $593mm of financing to buy the Rangers in 2010?
I believe he had a group of investors join together in order to pool their funds to purchase. About 80% of them were local investors, which the MLB has become more and more in favor of recently.
So its not like they got financing from a Bulge in the form of a leverage loan or some sort of securitization off of the recurring revenue to come in future years?
