Does anyone who isn't a gross hippie like the band Phish?

My favorite band is Phish. I love seeing them live and listening to their music; however, I don't exactly fit the the stereotypical image of a phish fan. I attend an Ivy league school, have a business related major, and-- obviously since I frequent this site-- have aspirations of pursuing a career in investment banking. I know this has very little to do with finance, but I'm curious, are there any Phans who have successful careers in I-banking/ finance?

I've never heard Phish, but I understand your question. My genres of choice range from melodic death metal, black metal, and heavy metal all the way down to psychedelic rock, classical, jazz and some blues, and it's never gotten in the way of an offer.

I don't always build models, but when I do, I build models to Aphex Twin or Infected Mushroom.

Those who can, do. Those who can't, post threads about how to do it on WSO.

Come to daddy.

Under my tutelage, you will grow from boys to men. From men into gladiators. And from gladiators into SWANSONS.

DeadHead here. Never really got into Phish but I know a lot of people that did. My musical tastes never affected me professionally outside of the strange looks I got when I mentioned them from my colleagues.

Used to listen to them in High School. Sometimes I'll pull out an old album if I'm working late at night for nostalgia sake.
